So, Art Basel is over... time to rest up of course. Did you get to see the pop up shops that came to town?
I had the opportunity to visit Dior, Pringle of Scotland, & Scotch & Soda.
Dior: amazing marketing with a great collaboration with German artist, Anselm Reyle. I loved the palette they worked with and even more impressive than the collection was Reyle's artworks inspired by Dior. The pop up shop was in a great space in the Moor building and even offered manicures in the aforementioned color palette to guests.
Pringle of Scotland: teamed up with The Webster for a minimal pop up shop a few doors down from Dior's space. The space featured Pringle of Scotland's newest collection with a colorful color-block focus on smart clutches and ready-to-wear including plenty of sweaters. In the spirit of Basel, there was a wall of art books for sale as well.
Scotch & Soda: was the only pop up I visited that I didn't expect to see. How was it? AMAZING! I am now a huge fan of the brand and their soft textured slouchy pants in 4 or 5 colors just really stole the show for me!
